Good location and it's very welcoming with quick and polite service. We tried the blackened grouper and buffalo shrimp with the crab bites as an appetizer. Food was great overall and the serving sizes are generous!

this is a great place too eat!! it’s is well worth the wait an the atmosphere is wonderful!! we choose to eat out back at the picnic tables!! the service was still excellent tho!! we will definitely be making this a regular stop on our way thru !!

Greasy, oil soaked flour, thick tons of it on fried shrimp, overcooked crab claws and oysters. Great stomach-ache joint. We asked politely if they could be fried like the fish, in cornmeal and was told it couldn't be done.Truth IS they simply refused this request! Amazing. Perfectly capable of satisfying a customer but no willingness to do so!I was told, "we try to do things different than the beach places"...THAT is the reason the beach places are PACKED and this place had 4 cars, 3 tables average while we visited en route.Plusses, they serve good shrimp, just really poorly prepared/fried, get them grilled. Fish was just fine, the corn meal it was cooked in doesn't soak up tired cooking oil like the flower-slathered fried selections and their salads and dressings were fineCustomer service?Forget about it. Skip it and find a good seafood shop with some flexibility in their kitchen.Gave our waitress a better-than 20% tip for trying, but the kitchen? damn.Will not stop again!!

The food was outstanding. We had to sit out in the cold for 30 minutes waiting on a table. The restaurant is too small and the staff is not overly friendly.

Great little place close to I10, great food ,friendly staff, family atmosphere. They had whole fried flounder fish, one of my favorite, price was very reasonable. If you want to stop before the beaches for great food this is the spot.

I was working for FEMA doing storm cleanup after the hurricane and stopped for gas next to this restaurant. Not many places were open, much less a seafood restaurant. It was an accidental find in amidst of long days eating MRE's. Needless to say this Louisiana girl was very happy to have some boiled shrimp! There was enough food to make two meals off one plate.

True country cooking. Fried and grilled seafood entrees are excellent. Battered onion rings are one of my favorites.

Very nice hole in the wall! Food it's delicious and taste super fresh.. everything we tried was good. Draw back there is no sign and it's behind a closed gas station.. we we're going to put gas in the car till we saw it was closed we we're turning around, we saw the little place and stopped to get coffee. End it up eating lunch there one of those places that are so hidden only locals go to. Food smell so good forgot to take pictures so my plate had a lot more food... We had salad and shrimp po boy and shrimp cocktail and the fresh flounder... So we are glad we stopped! delicious!!

My go-to place to eat when I don't want to mess with traffic on the beach. Scallops and shrimp...heaven.

This place was awesome. It had great seafood. I had the shrimp two ways they were amazing. My boyfriend and stepson had the a little bit of everything I believe was called boat trash and they loved it especially the oysters and crab. They stay busy but it's worth it even if you have to wait for a table. The waitress are always great and so nice and accommodating. Great place all the way around and affordable.

Good food well served..but lack of masks .. people was not taking care of distance and masks. But food was wonderful..

If there were a 10 star rating, there’d be 10 on this little place! Small restaurant but HUGE TASTE!! My wife and I favorite local seafood restaurant! The very best fried shrimp in the area bar none! If your are like me and love “fresh” mullet fried perfectly...look no farther! Fried oysters as well! Their homemade coleslaw, cheese grits and hush puppies...Hmmmm mmm! 5 Stars + 5 drools!!

HOLY S***!!!! the food was incredibly amazing. Haven't had that good of seafood in a long time!! We had oysters, fish, scallops, and shrimp and they were exceptional!! !!!!!! The service was also very amazing! Cute restaurant that seems family owned. Highly recommend!

Best buffalo shrimp in my life and im from the florida coast so that says a lot. Huge shrimp, 3 bitters. Good sides and nice looking staff. Def try this spot if you're in the area.

The place was small and quaint. The waitresses were pretty, friendly, and the service was very good. My only complaint was that the fried oysters had a little too much breading on them.

Very convenient location just off Interstate 10. Friendly, welcoming staff and some absolutely delicious seafood. Some of the best crab claw appetizer I've ever had. Excellent cheese grits and other generous proportion sides. Restaurant and bathrooms were very clean and service was quick and friendly, affordable pricing, plenty of parking space. Homemade desserts are another bonus, give this place a try.

What a fantastic resturant, the fish was fresh and delicious, we were given generous portions of freshly baked bread. The meal consisted of delicious fish that was freshly caught. The service was excellent. This place is perfect for celebrations and a excellent place to get the best fish in town. The dessert menu was out of this world and our host was 5 star. I highly recommend this establishment for good value for money.

We have been wanting to try this restaurant for sometime now and finally had the chance , so glad we did 😉 the servers are amazing ( ours was Savanna ) they were busy even at 50% a lot of take out orders ... the fried pickles are perfect not greasy at all , the buffalo shrimp was excellent 🤗 all their fried food is not greasy at all and so good 🙂 the key lime pie is awesome 😋 I would recommend this restaurant to locals and those traveling through the area , you won’t be disappointed 😊 the atmosphere is causal and super friendly 😁

I am a Flirida girl and this was the best lightly fried oysters and shrimp I have ever had!

The food was great! My father and husband said the oysters and shrimp were amazing, the fish, coleslaw and onion rings were great.The staff was ok. They were crazy busy but could've been kinder and more attentive. All of our needs were met though.

Eat here as often as we can and its a 30 minute drive from home! The seafood is fantastic and Carla, the young lady that owns it, is an absolute inspiration to watch to watch work! Love Castaways!

Awesome food! The Fried shrimp was huge and fried well! Tasted fabulous! I had it with hushpuppies, and coleslaw! The side salad was good too! The jumbulia was truly incredible, all the flavors and seasoning!! I highly recommend if your in the area stop in! Friendly and efficient service!!

Seafood is really good! Big shrimp, whole flounder. Hush puppies are good. Fresh ice tea. Open Wednesday-Saturday only. Lunch & dinner. Go get it!

We're from Tallahassee anytime we're near this area we always go there to eat. Whenever I'm in the Marianna area I always add the additional 30 minutes to go have a nice lunch before I head back to Tallahassee definitely worth the travel. For the last several years that I've been going there to eat I have never had bad food or poor service great job

Darn Good seafood! Great service. Friendly atmosphere. Generous amount on plat. Prices medium/high, depending on what you order. The mullet was perfectly cooked & delicious. Sides were very yummy. We will return.

Poor service, bad food, stopped in driving through town. Worst idea ever. Over priced and designed for the old folks of Florida who don’t know any better. Just keep driving to the next exit or get Burger King. I would give it 0 stars if I could. I wasted $10 and now I’m going through a drive thru to get rid of the nasty taste.

Got the place recommended at the Holiday Inn, and were very happy about the food and especially the nice and friendly service. Great seafood for a reasonable price.

Great place to eat seafood and flounder is awesome

If I could give zero stars I would. Are here the other day with a friend. I’d heard great things but my experience was lacking those great things. Our waitress was some blonde chick with drawn on eyebrows. Rude attitude and it was so difficult to flag her down. Oysters were overcooked, not cool.

Great little place right off the interstate! This hidden gem is a must stop to check out. Great seafood. Awesome wait staff. Forgot to take a picture of our seafood, but we had dessert and it was heavenly! Of your traveling through Bonifay, stop in and give them a try. Oh my gracious! This is the best seafood restaurant in this area and its 30 miles inland! So much better than anything along the beaches. I had simple fried shrimp. They were huge with just enough breading and the flavor was amazing. My bf had the grilled grouper and it too was amazing. They have such a great menu and everything that came out of the kitchen looked delicious. The prices can't be beat and the staff is so friendly and helpful.

Amazing food. We were headed home and stopped at the gas station in front of the restaurant, decided to go in for a bite; best choice my husband and I made. Seems to be a family operated restaurant. The food was extremely flavorful. We had the Jambalaya soup, buffalo shrimp and grilled Mahi. The shrimp was phenomenal! Very lightly battered (which we loved because it doesn’t take away the flavor of the seafood). The staff was very nice and welcoming. Amazing little restaurant off the highway.

Fresh hot crispy shrimp.....in the middle of nowhere....who da thunk it!!!! I highly recommend this place.

I tried to go back and cancel a recent post and can not find it.We were under the impression from our bank that a large charge was from this restaurant from lunch this past Friday. They were wrong, and I would like to apologize. The food is alway . Great.

I LOVE fish... And this place is one of the best I've had! A little pricey, but worth it.Doesn't look like much from the road, it's small and packed. But the fish is delicious!Only open Wednesday through Saturday.
